The 2025 competition season became one of the most exciting and successful chapters for The Home Dance Studio.

This year, our dancers proudly represented our studio at several major dance competitions, including Encore Dance Competition, Kids Artistic Revue, Showstopper, Inspire Dance Competition, and ID Dance Competition. From our youngest 5-year-old performers to our advanced teen teams, every group brought energy, confidence, discipline, and true street dance spirit to the stage.

Throughout the season, our teams earned:

A special invitation to perform in New York

Our season started strong at Encore Dance Competition, where our teams received top scores in their categories, a Special Judges’ Award for Technique, and Best Choreography of the Division for “Megatron,” created by our lead choreographer Vitalii Kobziev.

At Kids Artistic Revue, both “Megatron” and “Wall to Wall” earned 1st Place, Top Overall Score, Judges’ Choice Award, and a special invitation to perform in New York.

Showstopper became another unforgettable milestone. Our youngest dancers, only 5 years old, competed for the very first time and earned 1st Place in their category. Our Junior and Senior Competition Teams also delivered powerful performances, receiving Double Platinum scores, 1st Place in Hip-Hop, and Overall placements among some of the strongest groups in the competition.

At Inspire Dance Competition, our dancers were recognized for their authentic hip-hop style, confidence, energy, and stage presence.

The season continued with outstanding results at ID Dance Competition, where our teams earned First Place Overall, 1st Place in Category, 2nd Place Overall, Technique Award, Dynamic Award, Stand Out Award, Intrinsic Award, and Ultra Iconic Award.

For us, this season was about much more than trophies. Every competition gave our dancers a chance to grow, overcome nerves, support each other, and experience the power of teamwork. Some of our recreational students also had the opportunity to compete, gaining valuable stage experience, confidence, and unforgettable memories.

Behind every performance is a strong team. Our teachers Dasha and Maya worked hard to develop technique, musicality, confidence, and performance quality in our dancers. Our lead choreographer Vitalii Kobziev created powerful, competitive routines with strong choreography, formations, musicality, and stage impact. Our director Svetlana Savran coordinated the full competition process — from registrations, scheduling, communication, costumes, and logistics to supporting families and helping bring every performance vision to life.

We are incredibly proud of our dancers, teachers, parents, and everyone who supported this journey.

This season proved that The Home Dance Studio continues to grow as one of the strongest street dance and hip-hop programs in Charlotte and the Carolinas. Street dance is our main direction, our passion, and our strength — and we are proud to help develop it in our region.
